A Lot to Talk About!

Well, it is getting closer and closer to the end for my first book. It is just being looked over once more by the publisher and then they will send me a paper that I must sign and send back. Once that is done, it is on to marketing! Once marketing has it, I will have a date of release and an idea of where and when I will be doing book signings. Then you will hopefully be seeing more about it and as it gets closer I will be able to give more information, like where you can buy it and its ISBN number.

As for the second book, I have just been given my options for the cover. Once again I can't show it to you until they have bought the rights, but once that happens I will defiantly show you guys. They look pretty good, but unlike last time I'm pretty sure I know which one I will be choosing, but one never really knows until it is done. I am hoping that by the end of the month the first book will be on its way to marketing and that the second book will be on to the designing stage.

Almost There.

Well, I'm almost there! Once I hand in this mock copy, it will go to marketing and once it goes to marketing it will be a short time before it is out for people to buy! I still can't believe it on certain levels and really, it still doesn't feel real. Even though I had it in my hands, it still just hasn't clicked yet that "This is my book!" As for the second book I just spoke to an artist and we talked about its cover. I'll go through the same process in that I'll get two covers and I'll choose one and then show it to you guys.

As for my life, I'm going on vacation soon to visit family in the deep south. And for those that have never been, its different, but don't believe what Sweet Home Alabama said about needing a passport to get there. They are for the most part a lot nicer and the food is amazing! So, I win. Only down side is the heat! It's so hot and humid I feel like I'm going to melt every time I get down there.
