Mock Copy!

So I now have my mock copy of my book and I'm so excited! It looks great and I am just looking for any last minute mistakes before it goes to marketing. Once marketing has it, I hope that it will be out within three months.  I also hope that by the end of next month that I will finally have a date for the books release! Once that happens I will start to talk more about the books plot and characters. Also, next month they will start to create the cover for the second book. Be warned, that the first book is part 1 of the story because both books are legend one.

So tired, but so Excited!

Okay, so my first book is almost through with layout. Once I give the okay, then it goes to print and marketing and then Woooooo! So, sometime this fall my first book will be out and I'll be a published author. Now, the price that they've made the book makes me a little worried. It's kind of high, but I'm hoping that I can still sell a good amount of books. As for the second one, it is now done with editing and will be off to get a cover next month. Wooooooo!

Whoa!

Well, okay. I'm still reeling from the last two weeks. So the first Friday night of the month a massive storm came through my area and knocked our power out for days. We were without power for six days to be exact and in one of the worst heat waves this summer. On top of that I was expecting my edits for my second book and the layout for the first, so needless to say I was freaking out because I was not able to check my e-mail regularly. Then this past weekend, my aunt and uncle came down to visit and though I was already planning to buy a new mattress this weekend my aunt somehow decided that meant that I had to completely redo my room. I mean it's totally awesome, don't get me wrong it is amazing, but I'm exhausted. However, I would never take it back for anything.
As for my book, its going well. I just got the layout from my publisher for the first book and it looks really nice! It's becoming more and more real now and I just can't believe it. As for the second book, I'm still in editing, but come August it will be past that and I will be just one step closer to have two books out. This is just getting so exciting. Now that the ball is rolling I'll probably be writing more often to keep you all updated.
