Well, okay. I'm still reeling from the last two weeks. So the first Friday night of the month a massive storm came through my area and knocked our power out for days. We were without power for six days to be exact and in one of the worst heat waves this summer. On top of that I was expecting my edits for my second book and the layout for the first, so needless to say I was freaking out because I was not able to check my e-mail regularly. Then this past weekend, my aunt and uncle came down to visit and though I was already planning to buy a new mattress this weekend my aunt somehow decided that meant that I had to completely redo my room. I mean it's totally awesome, don't get me wrong it is amazing, but I'm exhausted. However, I would never take it back for anything.
As for my book, its going well. I just got the layout from my publisher for the first book and it looks really nice! It's becoming more and more real now and I just can't believe it. As for the second book, I'm still in editing, but come August it will be past that and I will be just one step closer to have two books out. This is just getting so exciting. Now that the ball is rolling I'll probably be writing more often to keep you all updated.
