So, this week has been weird, for numerous reasons. One, I got sick, but not with the flu everyone keeps talking about. It was just a cold and not a bad one, so I was able to go to work, but when I got home I was drained enough to want to do absolutely nothing. Two, my mom was gone for the entire week, so it was kind of weird to be in charge of the cleaning and most of the cooking. Three, on Saturday, I was feeling a lot better so I went to the park to walk some trails and a group of teenagers decided to follow me. Annoyed, I decided to get rid of them and using my knowledge of the trails I picked the one that I knew the geese liked to leave their presents. I also knew the safe way through, much like Gollum through the Dead Marshes. Anyway, it was extremely effective and I had no more problems with teenagers. Then as I was leaving I was followed by geese looking for handouts. They were extremely persistent and followed me all the way to my car and I felt like the goose whisperer. Then of course Sunday, I felt worse than I had on Saturday. However, I'm pretty much better now and am enjoying this day that celebrates Dr. King, one of my favorite people in history. I wish there were more people in this world like him. Four, I ordered something on the internet on Monday and it got here on Thursday. I was shocked, nothing ever gets here that quickly, especially with standard shipping. Five, I have suddenly found myself being in an author club type relationship with another author. Simply meaning that we share stories and give advice and stuff like that. This sounds like a very normal thing, except I had just been thinking that I needed to find something like this and then it finds me.
So as a whole, even though I thought that nothing different would happen this week, it seemed that more happened than I thought. It's not the most exciting week, I know, but hey it has kept life interesting. As for the books, there is nothing really to report. Feb. 5th is coming closer and closer and so is April 16th. I have my first book signing worked out at a local library and I'm still trying to work some others in, but other than that, same old same old.
Write Later.
This blog is being written to explore the books, my writings and just random questions or problems about life.

Wow, its Jan. 14th already!
Okay, so I know that it has been a while since I last wrote and I apologize to you all. However, I will say that that marathon I decided to do for Christmas took it out of me. So I decided to take a small vacation and would write again come Jan. 2. Well we all saw how that worked out. I will also say that some unexpected family issues came up, but once again, I was kind of shocked to look at the calender today and saw what date it was. So, funny story, today is also the day we took down our Christmas tree. I will also say that we have had it up since the first week of December so it was well over due. There were needles all over and it was a much bigger tree than I had realized so when we hauled it out it dropped hundreds of needles and knocked over many a furnishing. It almost took longer to clean up after it then it did just getting it out of the house. Oh well, it was worth it. Christmas time goes way to quickly but now it is back to regular life and with that normal life comes some exciting news. I have booked my first book talk/book signing. Its at a local library in my home town on March 2nd. On top of that, I have been contacted by a few other places and am hoping to have something set up soon.
I promise to write soon!
