Well, a lot has happened in a week since my book's release and so I feel that I must blog about it. I already have my first Amazon review, which was posted about five days after its release. It was a very good review and that made my day for sure. I have also booked two more book signings. One is at Rowan University on April 18th and the other is in Millville NJ on May 17th, so if any of you know someone that lives around there, tell them to keep their ears and eyes open. I'm still waiting on my second book, but its coming along and now I'm just waiting for April 16th, which is its official release date. I'm still polishing my second story but its coming along nicely. Also, my boss read my book and shocked me by pulling me out to tell me how amazing she thought it was. It was quite the complement.
Also, on the funny side, my cat Pippin, the affectionate one, got himself into some trouble yesterday. I was on the phone with a book store, trying to be as professional as possible because I was confirming a book signing. Pippin, who had been looking out my window decided to jump down to come see me when all of a sudden he was swinging like Tarzan. Apparently he had stepped in-between the cords that allow the blinds to be lowered and raised and had become caught. So there he was swinging back and forth and there I am trying to be professional. He was perfectly fine, just confused when he was back on the ground and once I realized he was okay, it took every once of will power not to crack up laughing. Boo, the not so bright one, also showed rare form yesterday by being so rambunctious that he decided his tail was the enemy. So he attacked it. Apparently so hard that while playing with it he started wailing and hissing, but continued to attack and no matter what we did, we could not get him to stop. Finally he let go, looked at it for a moment, cleaned it and then fell asleep. He's so weird.
